2017 solar Eclipse

I got to watch the 21 August 2017 solar Eclipse from my Grandmawmaw's front yard with my Dad, Daughter, & Son. We live in Southeastern Louisiana so we were not in the path of totality, but did get to see 75% of solar eclipse. I took a ton of pictures. Our neighbor had some eclipse glasses she shared with us, as we had not gotten any, but instead found dad's old welding mask. I used the camera of my phone to view it. The lense pointed at the sun created a glare which revealed the moon eclipsing the sun.we had a bit of clouds in our sky obscuring it a bit but the glasses & flare-glare revealed it. I also used a pinhole viewer which i made out of a cereal box. I took pictures of everything, including the tv news coverage which Mawmaw was watching to catch the event.
